Default Sometimes I Wish I Wasn't a Woman

I hate having periods. They hurt and take too much time out of my day. It makes me angry so much that sometimes I wish I wan't a woman. I don't mean that I want to be a man, it's just that being a woman really, really sucks. Does anyone else feel this way during that time of the month?

Yes true hirami,
Thats really bad time of the month, though I am not a female but i can understand your feelings.

You got to take it, there is no other alternate for that but just imaging for those 5 days of the moth are you really ready to leave those thousands of men admiring you ?
Life may have taken away those 5 days of the month from you but in return it has given you the beautiful 25/6 days in return.... so just cool down and enjoy...

I have never had any problems with my period since I got it the first time. It only lasts about three days and most of the time, I don't even feel that I am on my period. If your period causes cramps and discomfort, you can always take over the counter medication like Midol to make these days a little easier on you.

I hear you on the periods... sometimes it's just so frustrating... I would like to have just one month a year off!
Aside from that, sometimes I think this is a mans world... women are constantly objectified. We have women on our magazine covers and theirs. Women are always topless in movies. Relationship jokes in movies or tv shows are almost always directed at the female. Its annoying. I can't watch a movie without seeing a women fully or half naked, which is usually unneccesary. If we are in a bad mood we must have pms.
I'll stop there because I could go on.. hah!

I use to have very hard periods. I would be in bed with such cramps that it was horrible.
The best thing that ever happened to me was I had to get a hysterectimy. I had my children already, so no more periods I was sad at first just thinking I couldn't have children anymore, but once I experienced no more periods, all was great!

That sounds so tempting. During those painful moments, I just want to cut that part of me right out of my body. It's not fair that only women have to feel this pain. I wish that there was something more that I could do.

That pain is just normal to us, women. Sometimes it can't be avoided, but we have to sacrifice. I have a friend who got her cycle after 3-6 months, and when she have it, she can't really take it because it was very painful. By the way, do you have a normal cycle or not?

Yeah, it's pretty normal, but I just feel like God gave us the raw end of everything, really. I wish we could have had a choice in whether we wanted to have our periods or not. I definitely would have said no. I don't even want to have children.

I have had this thought many times. Not only because of periods but all the shaving we have to do. I am getting close to menopause and I am getting very impatient, lol. I can`t wait till they stop. It`s been about 8 years now that I have one every 24 days with only one heavy day. And it only lasts about 4 days.

Periods stink!! Sometimes I joke with my guy friends and ask if they wanna trade for a week so I don't have to have a period. I hear there are these products where you can have like only 4 periods a month and things, but I don't think that sounds safe. It's just not natural. Does anyone know anything about them? Or have you used them?

Honestly, I was nervous enough to start taking birth control because of the changes it has on your body, but I took the risk because getting pregnant would be the worst thing that could ever happen to me!

I know. Those products do sound tempting, but even having a period only four times a year still sounds too inconvenient for me. I'm not sure there's a way to take it away completely with a single shot or pill.

By undergoing regular pain every month, women are trained to face the challenging life. That's why compared to men, women are generally stronger, have a longer life, can bear more pain and stress also.

Sometimes, the pain becomes so overwhelming that I wish I didn't exist. When I think about it, I realize that a lot of our pain exists because we have a physical body. If only we didn't have to have bodies....

Ya, I've come to the conclusion, I would never use those. They scare me. It's just not normal. I don't wanna change my body. Like I said, even b.c. pills make me nervous!

Do you encounter abdominal pains? I guess it would be normal to feel that way especially when you have your periods. But I think we have an advantage over men because our blood are cleanse once in a month in a natural way. Although we may undergo some pain that wouldn't take a long time. We should take a look at the good side of it.

I feel that way whenever I have my period. Why do we suffer a lot compared to men? But if we take a good look at the situation, we gain benefit from it. After the pain, I am still thankful I am born as one of ladies.
