Default Height

Hi everyone! Does anyone here knows an effective way to increase our height? I'm only 5'2 you know and I'm already 18. Ouch right?

What's wrong with being petite?

I am not sure it can be done. I have heard of a guy who did pull-up exercises trying to grow taller, but it didn't really help.

Some people still add a few inches after 18, so maybe you have not stopped growing yet.

Apart from wearing heels there is not a lot you can do.

I don't see anything worng with being 5'2 as the saying goes 'the best things come in small packages'!

Your height has something to do with your genes and there is not much you can do about it. Wear clothes that would make you look taller and wear high heeled shoes to boost.

Thanks. Just the little thought of the possibility of growing taller even after 18 is very comforting.

Ha ha ha! (Sigh) But I don't think being short is too good. I think there's more to life being taller.

I do know that shoes can make us look like taller but how can clothes do?

I'm not sure about clothes... A to shoes, you don't have to wear high heels all the time, there are shoes specifically designed to add some to the person's height without actually having high heels. They make them for men and women. It looks very natural, no one would be able to tell you are wearing some special shoes.

Not sure medically there is something you can do ? at this stage you probably have reached your desired height. Maybe some nice killer heels ?

My sister took a vitamins to increase her height. It was quite effective but I am not sure if it is still available in the market. I would agree that you use high heeled shoes temporarily. Actually, you are only 18, just sleep well and eat properly, that could somehow help you grow. What do you think?

Don't give up hope. People continue to grow even after 18. My sister-in-law grew some inches after giving birth to her first child at the age of 22. Also, what helps to give the impression of height is a good posture. If you stand erect, as if there's a string running the length of your body and pulling you upward, you'll see what a difference this makes in your appearance.

If you are 18, you will not be getting any taller. Why not try getting some high heels or wearing things that will make you look taller like pinstripe suits or dark color slacks that gives the impression of having longer legs...

The best age for growing I think is between 14-18. After 18 I don't think you can still grow taller. I know many of my classmates who were taller than me before but now I'm way taller than them. I grow a lot taller since I got my very first period during HS.

Just cuz you're 18 doesn't mean you're done growing. I mean, you're probably not going to get too much taller, but I've heard of a women who don't stop growing till about 25 I think it was. (Especially in cup size.. so I myself am crossing my fingers on that one!!hahaha) I think 5'2" is a cute hight. You can get people to help you grab stuff. Guys will like it I think
