I got our pool all set up yesterday and this week it's going to sit and warm up! I babysit for one of our eight year old granddaughters and like having a small pool up all summer for her and her friends to play around in and cool off. This year it's only a 10' X 30" deep one, but I've had only the 8' one's before so this one is bigger! Years ago I bought 14 tons of sand and made a "beach" out of a portion of the driveway we don't use and it's been a source of family fun for a few years since then! Our own private beach full of sand and a little kiddie pool to float around in and all right basically in the garden...who could ask for more?!!

Awwww! How fun! I remember doing this as a kid and it was just a blast. Waking up in the morning, eating as FAST as I could so I could run out to the pool and stay out as late as I was allowed... hehe. Hope you've been having fun!!!!!

I have a heated pool at my apartments, and it's soooo nice to go han out there late at night.. it's not too warm, not too cold and we get the whole thing to ourselves!! We're strange, and swim at like 3am. LOL

It's really nice to have a swimming with kids. LOL! We used to have a beach party with my family. My nieces and nephews are so cute to looked wearing there swimming attire. Moreover, I used to trained them to swim. Do you also teach your kids to swim?

Gosh, I remember when I was little, I would get sooo excited every real when the pool would get set up in the back yard. I remember though how scared I was of all the bugs floating around in it. It really is a LOT to keep up with.

Funny thing is, I never officially learned to swim.. I got pushed in the deep end by a "friend" and swam back up to the top just fine. I was soooo angry when I got out, I was like, "Jenny! wait.. omg!! I swam... do it again!! do it again!!" Good times!!
