I am a student in USA and researching Woman's roles and culture in very traditional families and places in India. I am writing to you with hopes of either finding a contact point who can answer a series of questions in my research from an Indian Woman's standpoint so I can better understand an accurately write about these points in my paper.

Some of the topics would include a woman's role in a traditional Indian family where there is a strict family hierarchy, arranged vs love marriage, work, interaction with males and female friends, interaction with people of other cultures, dating, social activities, daily family life and life outside of home, and a few additional points which many people I feel are unaware of in my culture. If you are an Indian Woman who now lives in USA, that would be very helpful as well to hear your input and experiences.

I have worked with and have friends from India and most are male, and the women I've interacted with have only been through class assignments and work, and I feel it would be more appropriate to ask these questions through someone in an organization such as the one you provide.

If you would be so gracious to answer any of my questions, and I would be delighted to send you another email with my list of questions with hopes of someone or more than one person answering these questions so I can accurately depict a woman's role in India from the traditional sense as described above.
