What's the longest that you've ever gone without electricity? I remember there was a blackout on my side of the street once, and the power was out for about fifteen hours. You really come to appreciate modern conveniences when you don't have them.

Electricity cuts in India are very common, and the longest electricity cut Ive been through lasted 3 days! That was horrible, as there is so many things which can not be done without electricity! We had an inverter but obviously that lasts for only a certain time and depending on how much electricity you use on that.

Hope electricity cuts never last as long as that again!

Seriously cant imagine even a day without electricity. The half an hour power cut also seems like hours and hours.
