Everyone has heard about the Toyota recall, right? Does that affect anyone here or someone that you know? Even if you don't own the type of car that's being recalled, how does that make you feel about your vehicle?

It didn't affect anyone I know, but things like this freak me out. I never want anything to go wrong with my car, if I ever get one. I doubt I'll ever have one though. I'm fine with my bike lol

I don't know anyone who owns a Toyota either, but I am just happy that the company are taking responsibility for the defect and fixing the problem sooner rather than later.

I honestly don't think this will harm the Toyota brand becasue they have acted now.

It's very serious alright, it seems to be worldwide, here in my country alot have returned their cars and there have been quite a few accidents with these cars where the driver has lost all control of the car. It's scary to think what could have happened if this was not noticed.. I hope they can fix this problem for ever happening again.

Does anyone know exactly what's wrong to make the driver not able to control the car? That's a MAJOR issue, wow! Scary! My bike just keeps looking better and better

I think the issue is with the brakes. It does make me feel better about the company that they are taking steps to fix this because it's better than dealing with a big class action lawsuit later.
