If you could afford hiring permanent help for your house, would you do that? You know, having a cook, a butler, a maid...

I honestly do not know. As much as I hate housework, having strangers in the house sounds rather uncomfortable.

I would love to. I would pay them well and I would make them feel like part of the family. I hate to see rich people treating those who work for them like they are nothing. I would give them food and they would be my friend and hang out with the family. I would rather have someone I know and trust in my house than someone who I never really say anything to..

I know what you mean. I would feel weird about that too, but maybe I could set up cameras or something to make sure they're not messing around. I wouldn't want to be home alone with them. That's why maybe it would be best to hire a friend

Well I would love to be served but if I will hire some helpers I will definitely be lazier than I was before lol. Some of the chores I do at home is also my way to get exercise.

I would like to have servants for cooking, cleaning and laundry.
The rest we can manage by ourselves.

I think having someone to do the bigger things for you like cleaning and cooking would be fine. It's not like I'd be asking them to dress me and wipe my face when I spill. I wouldn't want them in my house if I wasn't home, though.

My in house staff would consist of a chef and a cleaner. I already have someone else taking care of the garden. If I were filthy rich I'd have someone on call to give me a massage too.

I'm affraid I'd need a new house too. lol. Nobody else would fit. I'd settle for a dishwasher and an upgrade on my vacuum.

English butlers are the best, but they are expensive! I want one each time I see one in a movie... Impeccable manners, always knows his job, never interferes in your private life.

Yeah if only we're so rich that we will not move an inch to where we are sitting right now. Also if I had helpers in the house I guess my nail polish will never break. So very convinient.

I would only want someone to do the things that I didn't want to do, not because I was too lazy to do them, but because they are such a bother to do. Butlers would be for difficult jobs only.

I really dont like having strangers at home as servants.. And even the known servants, i dont like keeping them for work daily.. Once in a week to clean home would be the only thing for which i would need a servant..

Definitely not.. I have thought about that matter..and my policy is not to keep servants on a regular basis.. For several reasons i think its better to not have one..
