Do you visit the wikipedia site? I do, a lot actually. It's on my bookmarks bar because I visit so much. I like to look a lot of random things up, and I usually end up reading about something completely unrelated.

I use it sometimes, but try not to believe all that I read, because the info can be edited by anyone. I do a lot of random research online when I'm curious about something, so ya.. that's usually my first stop out of curiosity.

That's true, it can be edited by anyone, but at least there are citations and reference links where you can read the actual article that the information was pulled from. I like that. It's been a good source for me to read about upcoming or independent movies.

I have heard that the info there is not reliable, so while I do use Wikipedia to check things out, I keep that in mind. Most of the time, I use Google to find information I need and compare different sources.

I use Wikipedia to get a general idea of things, and then I like to go to the reference links myself and get all the facts. Some of the pages on Wikipedia are surprisingly extensive. If it weren't for Wikipedia, I wouldn't know about certain things.

Yeah since anyone can just edit it there's a big probability that the information is not true. I always search to some other sources although at first I always rely on Wikipedia since it really looks so complete and detailed.

I remember in college, the professors used to get angry and tell us that Wikipedia wasn't a legitimate source to put in our bibliography, but it was an all right place to start to look for more reputable sites. I guess I feel that way, too.
