What is the worst job you ever had?
I would have to say my worst job was working at Big! Lots, but it wasn't all bad. I just didn't have any benefits, and I was only making like 8 bucks an hour. Also, the store was a mess and things weren't managed very well. I really had a great time cashiering though, and if I HAD to work again, I would cashier, because it's fun and makes the time fly.

I haven't had a really bad job, I guess I've been lucky. I can think of many jobs that would be terrible for me - answering phones or childcare, off the top of my head.

I worked in a Call Center and it's pretty tough. I think it was the best job I had, while being the worst job as well. It was hard and it was constant and sometimes I just wanted to run away, but I feel like it brought me out of my shell at times and made me more confident to handle things one on one with customers and I never thought I could.

I have an issue about phone calls. I plain hate them - any kind of them, even personal. The only exception is talking on the phone to my mom, but she lives with us now, so I no longer call her, LOL. Any other phone call I need to make drives me nuts, I have to spend some time preparing myself to do it. Working in a Call Center would be a job from hell.

It definitely was a job from hell at times, but other days it was really nice. Some of the customers were amazing. You can tell when you're talking to someone who's been part of customer service before.

Yes, I often think about people who provide services - answering phone, waiting table, cleaning up at hotels, etc. We as customers can make their job hard or easy, and it seems like many customers don't care. Their attitude is, "Well, you're getting paid for it." That's just wrong.

I cleaned up an old man's house last summer, and even though I didn't like it at all, I got paid up front. There was good and bad about it, but I still didn't like doing it.
