If you could own any kind of business without worrying about the start up costs or anything else, what kind of business would you want to own?

Something I wouldn't have to touch, LOL! Unless it is something I am personally interested in, I'd hire a manager to run it for me.

I would love to have an animal shelter. I would hire help, but I'd be happy to work there myself, too.

I think I would like to have a non-profit business that helps abused child, abused adults and adults who were abused as children. Many people in the world need special help so that they do not become a part of the criminal justice system, institutionalized or homeless.

It's really confusing on which business is more suitable here. I think an internet cafe with the most updated games here is a must. I hate people playing dota only lolz.

Would anyone want to own a fancy restaurant? Sometimes I think it would be a nice business to have, but in hard times like we are facing now, you can start losing money - people economize and do not go out to eat that much, especially to fancy places.

I've always been fond of businesses that you can live in. Like in New York, people live above their businesses. I would love to own a hotel. It would be perfect because all the cleaning and cooking would be handled by someone else.

I want something that helps others, and a place where I can sell all my ideas. I want to sell buttons and that kind of thing, but have another company make them and ship them for me. I've found a site like that called zazzle.com but I've never made any money from it lol. I haven't been trying very hard though..

I've tried Zazzle, too! I only uploaded a couple of designs though, and I did not do much promotion, so I haven't earned anything. I did earn some money with Cafepress, it is similar to Zazzle. I think both sites have a lot of potential, but you've got to work hard on promoting your items.

Thanks for the info!! I will check out Cafepress. That sounds nice. I'm not too sure how to create designs and everything, but I have paint.. sure, it looks kidish, but people may enjoy it

So far I have created a few magnets, shirts and cups.. they all say the same thing, so I really haven't put too much effort into it

Yeah fancy restaurants can be a successful or not depends on your menu served and the people's capacity to pay for it too. Here even it's crisis people tend to eat out in fast food chains that's why my teacher told me that kind of business will surely last for a lifetime.
