Default Back to Normal

The holiday season is officially over. No more Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas shopping, or New Year's. The holiday rush is gone, and so is the holiday spirit. I was looking forward to it being over so much. I missed watching my scheduled shows instead of reruns and holiday specials. What about you?

I am glad to be back to normal as well. Business-wise, everything had slowed down so much, I look forward to see things pick up - emails answered, projects accomplished, etc.

My husband's birthday is coming in January, so I guess we'll have one more celebration.

Yeah I can't definitely feel any holliday spirit now, but people still feel it someone in the neighborhood just blew up a firecracker OMG im so going to be deaf! Well at least celebration is over no more visitors to come that will annoy me.

Someone put their Christmas tree on the edge of the street to be picked up, and I haven't seen any more Christmas decorations on my street. The only thing that I have to put up with is college football.

We still have out Christmas tree up, and the Nativity set under it. I like it, I don't want to take them down yet, even though I am back to work, back to normal. Some people on our street still have their Christmas lights.

Yeah our tree is also standing up the living room but the presents under it are already opened for display. I guess people will take off their Christmas lights when it's the middle of january.

I think the Christmas decorations are still up in city hall in my city. I could understand people wanting to keep their Christmas tree up, but the Christmas lights, too? That's just wasting electricity.

Christmas and New Years were hard to deal with since my grandma died. I'm just glad the month of December is done, and that 2009 is over. It was such a terrible year, and I want to move on from it. Death is so painful.
