The year is almost over, and it's time for reflection for the year that's ended. What about this year has been on your mind? What will you miss the most and the least about 2009?

Well, it has been a hard year, but there were also good things in it. My husband was laid off, but just before that I was able to land a good part-time job that has helped us to survive. We have even had a nice, although short, vacation. I have also done some things that I hoped would help to (finally) fulfill my creative ambitions; so far, it has not worked, but I have not given up yet. Perhaps 2010 will be different in this regard, and I will see some results. |

Even though 2009 was generally hard for everyone, it wasn't all bad. I found work myself, and the money that I earned was a big help for my family. It's not quite what I wanted to do with my life, but I know I'll get there soon.

2009 is a very bad year for me lots of bad things happened and I don't think I'm over it now. I hope this year will be a better year for me.

There was a lot of advances in technology in 2009, so that's always something good. I think the thing that I'll miss the most about 2009 is just being able to say "two thousand." No more of that.

A lot of MAJOR things happened in 2009. Many I want to forget, but I feel like I've really become a very strong person this year: I moved in with my bf. We broke up. I began having terrible panic attacks, and quit my job because of it. My cat died. I sold my dog. I got a new cat. I met a new guy, moved in with him in Reno, and then came back to Seattle to take care of my grandma with cancer. My grandma died. All of this has changed my life forever, and i can't wait for things to be better.

I moved back to my hometown last year and I already miss living in Vancouver, BC but besides that I don't think there is anything else that I will miss. I try not to look back as much as it is possible.

Yeah looking back at the past makes me wanna cry. >.> I'm still trying to forget how things went wrong that year. Anyway I hope I don't make the same mistake this year.

This may make me sound like a glutton, but I don't care. There was a lot of free food being given away last year, and that was great. Among all the things that happened to me, I would like to remember that.
