Default White Christmas...Eve

I'm not bragging about this, but it snowed on Christmas Eve. In Texas. Everyone was surprised. Not even the news knew this was coming. Even worse was the fact that my brother and me had to walk in the snow. It was a blizzard, and it was the coldest I've ever been in my life. Did anyone get any snow over the holidays in their area?

Wow how I wish I live there. Our country really don't have snow, but we did have a cold christmas and new year. I really wanted to experience having a white christmas someday.

New Year's Eve was wet and cold. I love the rain and the wind; however, I did think of the effects it may have on people travelling on slick roads and some may be intoxicated, sleepy or drugged. I did hear of a three car accident with two fatalities.

We've had white Christmas and New Years this year. It was cold, but tolerable since there was no wind. I like the feeling of crunchy snow under my feet - in moderation. I was glad that I did not have to do a lot of walking.

It snowed on Wednesday, too, but this time, everyone was expecting it. It was much more toned down compared to the snow on Christmas Eve. I don't know what the appeal is in snow. It is not fun.

I used to like snow as a kid because we would make snowmen or build a snow fortress. It was fun, and somehow we didn't get cold doing it. However, things are different now that I am grown up.

LOL, in Montreal, it is not surprising to have snow for the holidays. And sure enough, it has been snowing non stop, even today. Frankly, I am beginning to get quite sick of it.

Snow isn't the same as when you were a kid. As a kid, snow days meant you didn't have to go to school, but now, you're still expected at work, especially so if you telecommute.
