I've never been one to enjoy the holidays. The holidays always remind me of bad weather, nothing on TV, and a time when everything is closed. I find it very hard to enjoy this time of year. Am I the only one who feels this way?

No, you're not the only one. I most certainly hate holidays as well and I can't wait for them to be over. Everyone makes such a big deal out of making a huge party and getting tons of useless stuff...the only thing that makes me happy about this time of the year is the fact that the school is off.

That was the only good thing about it back when I was in school, but now, days like these only make it easier for me to not be very productive. Boredom happens so easily....

It sure does...and holidays seem to drag on forever as well. I just wish they would just be over as fast as they come. I never understood why people are so excited about the whole thing.

I find the holidays really strange. I don't like how society makes us feel like we HAVE to do something special that day, or buy gifts for others. I like the element of surprise. I enjoy randomly having a special day out or buying someone something I know they want. Now that my grandma's not here this xmas, I am just not really caring too much. I've never been into holidays that much anyway.

Right. Why wait until Christmas to give a gift or be nice to someone? I feel the same way about people suddenly finding themselves in a charitable mood. People need love and kindness all throughout the year.

Oh I really like hollidays but only the food lolz. People really have some traditions to follow I don't really think there's a problem with that. Well what annoys me during hollidays is the guests! O.o Can you imagine someone that we don't even know just barges in our bedroom without knocking just to see what is inside of it. It really freaks me out since when did our house became a museum to have some tours on going.

I totally agree with you. If I am shopping or someone crosses my mind, I may get that person something, make something, bake something or just send a card. It does not have to be a birthday or any other holiday. When I receive a gift for "no special reason", I am surprised and feel the gift is genuine. The poor, homeless and lonely need help all year long.

The very thought of holidays gears me up.. But when it is a long holiday it irritates me.. A few days off is cool.. but a loooooooong holiday calls for a lot of boredom and loneliness for me.. And now since i am having holidays i do wish that it just ended.. I have had the enough dose of fun and frolic.. Now its completely boring..
