Yesterday was the winter solstice, the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year. That sounds so sad to me, but there was a bright side to that. It was very warm yesterday in Texas, about 70 degrees. What was the weather like on winter solstice where you live?

Well, here in Montreal it was the arctic cold mixed with snow and I just could not get warm enough regardless of how many layers I wore to go out. I can't wait til this is over but unfortunately it won't be anytime before April...

Fortunately i live in a tropical region, the best time here would be winter,
and yesterday there wasnt any real demarcation to the regular climate here..

I was actually expecting some rain and a big drop in temperature over the next few days, but from the looks of it, that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I wish all winters were as warm as it has been lately.

It's pretty cold here in Seattle. I used to love the cold, but I can't handle it as much as I used to. I don't like going out much in it. I'm glad it hasn't snowed yet.. I hope I didn't just jinx it

Even if the temperature is low, I can still find some joy if the sky is blue and the weather is sunny. That's just enough to make me forget about the cold.
