What's on your mind today?

For me, I can't stop thinking about my grandmother and I'm wondering how much time she has left. I am also very motivated, and have been working harder online. I'm hoping I can get things moving. I don't want to be rich, but I would like to be doing well enough so that I'm not scared about not being able to pay the bills and buy food.

I'm hoping my boyfriend will continue working at the place he's at now. Today's his last day as a seasonal employee, but the company is talking about hiring more people and they keep saying he's doing a great job. I'm crossing my fingers. I would kill him if he didn't get to stay, because he's been trying so hard to find a job! This economy stinks!!

I guess the things on my mind are less serious. I'm thinking more about French music (chanson, nouvelle scene, French variety) and how my tastes are shifting away from my usual J-pop tastes. I am thinking of looking for another job to do online.

I am thinking of finding a solid way of making extra money as I really need it right now, especially with the holidays around the corner.

@ButterflyEs I know what you mean.. online work is hard to find. I can relate.

I haven't been paid yet, but you may like a site called ehow.com. My name on there is abejareina1989 if you'd like to add me. You get paid based on how many people read/rate/comment your articles. I have already made $14 (haven't cashed out yet) since I began writing in September. I've only written 8 articles and the money just keep accumulating. I added 2 more articles yesterday. My goal is to try to write at least one a day, if I can, because I've talked to people on the site who say they make a grand a month. I would be very happy.

If you love writing, which I sense both of you do, it could really work out very nice for you. Hope that helps!

Today, I am thinking about how much I'm not into Christmas. We had the office Christmas party today at work. But I just can't get into Christmas even though it's a mere two weeks away!

I like the idea of working from home and getting paid online, but a lot of these sites, even though legitimate, require a lot of work to put in before making money. It's sometimes hard to know if people will read your article, especially if there's already a bunch just like yours.

What's on my mind... Pretty much the same thing: making enough to pay the bills, saving up for extras like taking the family our for a Christmas dinner, buying gifts, etc. I have also been thinking about our aunt and uncle coming over for pizza on Sunday - I'll need to make some additional snacks. It will be fun to have them visit.
