Since concealed guns are allowed, do you think that people should be allowed to carry knives, too? Is ownership of pocket knives protected by the law?

Concealed guns are only allowed if you have a concealed weapons permit. Otherwise, concealed guns aren't legal. I think that knives are considered the same way. If you have the permit, you can conceal them. I don't know about pocket knives. I know so many people who carry them. I'm not sure if it's considered a weapon or a tool.

I think that pocket knives are a little of both, but maybe there's an honor system regarding them? I don't think I've heard of a person doing something really bad with a pocket knife anyway.

the laws vary from state to state. Some states allow a max blade length. For example in California I think you can conceal and carry a knife as long as the blade is less than 3 inches long. -F |

Oh that sounds pretty handy, here I don't think we have such laws in concealing weapons and knifes. With the current tragedy we have here there's a part of our country that has been delcared in Martial law.

| I'm sure there's some sort of law in place, like many said above. All I know for sure is, you can't walk around with a huge sword or anything.. but that's pretty obvious

Why do you want to carry a knife or gun? Instead, carry a packet of chilly powder if you want to overpower your attacker ![]() This may sound primitive but it is very handy !! |
