Default Career Change

Has anyone considered a career change? I'm not sure if I have a career per se, but I have thought about going into a different line of work. Unfortunately, I would have to go back to school or get some additional training to make the career change.

I just change my 'career' (if it can be called 'career' LOL). Before I worked for an NGO advocating people who are affected by natural disasters. Then I found that working for others is not for me. I like to work independently with my own schedule. So I quitted and now learn to work online.

I have done office work, then after a long break I tried to find a job - and I was open to many other options. I couldn't find anything. I now work online as a freelancer, I suppose in a way it is a change. I like it.

Freelance work for me has been so much better for me because I don't have to go anywhere to do my work. I also tried looking for a traditional job, and no one would hire me.

Yeah there's really a lot of people who would prefer working as a freelancer than wasting time looking for an office job. I'm just a fresh graduate but i don't think I could find a job here now freelancing is giving me money it's not even related to my course lolz. How I wish that employers would think just like the internet.

That's how things were for me. I was fresh out of college, and I had no real job experience. No one would hire me, but online, people only cared about if you could do the job or not. I'm doing things not even related to my degree, and it's nice, but I don't want to do this for the rest of my life.

Everyday I think of career change, the problem is getting there. It takes time and money. I am back in school now, but because I have to work full time I can't take many courses at one time. I know what I am doing right now is not what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Freelancing is great by the way. I've been doing some of that myself lately.
