Is anyone planning on getting up early for Black Friday this year? The sales are really good this year because stores are desperate for customers and sales. I'm going to Half Price Books. They're giving away $5 gift cards, tote bags, and there's going to be a 20% off sale.

I don't get up early, but I do usually go shopping on Black Friday. Even if I just go to hang out with a friend, I enjoy it and I almost always find good deals!

No, I don't do that. We tried last year, there was a good deal offered on laptop computers, and we needed one; we got up at some crazy hour, got to the store, and it was already full of people. Then when they started selling, it turned out they only had three of those advertised laptops available. We weren't among the first three people in the line, so we didn't get one.

It's fun to get up at those times when it's just a few times a year, but there are some things you just won't be able to get because there's only a few available. It's still possible to get a few things. I have all the electronics that I want, so I think that I'll make it my tradition to just go to the book store. Who else will give me money to shop like that?

I don't usually shop on Black Friday though sometimes I am tempted to do that. In such an occassion, I tend to buy something I don't really need only because it is a great deal.

Black Friday is basically a chance for you to splurge on things for your friends, family, and yourself. I remember when I was younger when stores would give out free goody bags when you stood in line.
