| I thought it would be interesting to share what religions we all are. I'm sure we have many different kinds. What I love about this forum most is that there are different people from all over the world ![]() I guess I would have to call myself Atheist. However, I find that word to sound so negative. I think of myself as a religious person. It's hard for me to describe exactly what I am lol. I think everything in life has a positive outcome, we just have to find what it is. Everything makes us stronger and we learn from it, so it betters us as people. I think women should have the right to get an abortion, but I don't think I would have the heart to be able to do it. I am 100% for gay, bi, lesbian and transgender rights, and I hope one day they can marry and be treated the same as anyone. I hope one day there will be no racism.. I know that's long shot, but it would be amazing. I just can't fathom looking down on another person and thinking you're better than them. That sums up my beliefs

There is a word for people like you and me, but it escapes me right now. I understand what you are trying to say because I am the same as you. don't follow any religion and I don't consider myself to be religious, but I do believe there is something out there, something that created the universe we live in today, and in times of need I do actually say small private prayers. |

I consider myself a Christian. Maybe the term you were thinking of was agnosticism. I think that's kind of like atheism. But I'm not real sure.

I'm a Nondenominational Christian. My personal beliefs are pretty much take care of your own business (from my mother) and to treat everyone the same regardless because we were all made my the same God.

I was raised an Atheist, I thought I knew there was no God, and I disliked religion. Sometimes grandma would take me to church. It felt boring - all the rituals I could not understand, and did not care to learn about, either. But then as I was growing up, I felt more and more clearly that something was missing, and there has to be more to life than this meaningless existence that will end when you die. I had found God and become a Christian. I still prefer the word "faith" to "religion." Religion is boring, and faith is alive. |

| I agree with you Lissy. I am also a Christian and prefer to call my beliefs faith rather than religion. There is only one God that made us all, so we should not be divided by religion.
