Default Money - friend or foe?

Money is a great utility if you have it and know how to manipulate it. But sometimes, it can also become one of our greatest enemies. If we don't have a good game plan, the money we have can easily find its way to the things that we don't necessarily need and bring more debt into our lives.
How do you handle your money? Do you believe that you are financially educated or do you just ''throw it away'' carelessly?

Money is not main thing in life. But also without them it is truely impossible. Simply it is necessary to remember that it only instrument at all/

I don't spend a lot and I just can't keep spending more because I'm saving for these coming hollidays. I handle money pretty well sometimes I hide them in a place where I couldn't think about then poof by the time I forgot about it makes me think I'm broke lolz.

I think most of us have heard the saying, "Money is a very good servant but a very poor master." That pretty much sums it up. If you own money and it serves you, you can be happy; if money owns you and you are its slave, you are miserable.

I do the same. I put it in between my books, under my daughters' mattresses or in little boxes that I don't use very often. But when I am just about broke, I start looking around and always find some money.

And what if someone else finds your little stash? Does that happen a lot?

I had once hidden money in a book and forgot about it. I got married and moved, and then my parents had found the money. I told them it was a gift, to spend any way they liked.

I will be 21 years old in April, and didn't really appreciate money until about a month or two ago. I would spend money like it was endless at times, and waste it on things I didn't need. My grandmother's not rich or anything, but she would give me money whenever I asked for it, so I never felt I would run out. Now I'm realizing I need to think about the future, and it's pointless to spend money on things I don't need. Too bad I didn't realize this when I had more money coming in. Working online will never be the same as working for Comcast.. well, I shouldn't say never, because anything can happen, but at least for the time being, it's not
