Default What is your definition of wealth?

Wealth for me is having everything that one needs to live a comfortable life. It is not only money, but love, health and a great overall look on life. When one of these components are missing, I don't believe a person could be called wealthy. For example, if I were filthy rich but sick to the point that I couldn't enjoy a simple walk in the park, I couldn't consider myself wealthy, as my life wouldn't really be worth living. What is your definition?

Wealth - this is when you have everything. And when everything is yours, it is nothing you to need. Consequently, the wealth - is death. How's my philosophy?

I don't think I can agree with that. Is it even possible to have "everything"? You can have a lot of money, houses, and an island of your own. Would that be everything? What if you want something money can't buy, and you don't have that?

One of definitions of wealth is having income that exceeds your expenses. I think it's a good starting point.

Pretty original, I must say
If we stay in the system where you work until you retire and then you live on the pension, it's definitely true as well. But I'm looking to do something different with my life. I want to be able to experience everything before I get old and wrinkly and not live on a government cheque.

Wealth for me is being able to easily afford the monthly necessities like food, heat, power etc. I would also like to have enough money to be able to consistently go to the doctor as needed and help my grandmother out with anything related to her cancer. Rent would never be something I was worried of missing.

So, basically wealth is when I'm not worrying about money.

See, that's what it is for most of us - just being able to live our life without financial concerns. I don't think many of us want to build a castle or purchase a jet; we just want the financial stress off our back.
