| I was soooooo excited to hear Obama say that he is on the side of those fighting for gay rights. FINALLY!! Someone is okay with it I really hope that one day people can be open about it, and don't feel the need to hide who they are. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be gay, and constantly feel that you are in the "wrong".

I agree. I have quite a few gay friends and I see what they go through even in this day and age - it is hard for me to believe there are so many close-minded people. What happened to live and let live?

Phew I do think gays and bisexuals has also the right in any country they're in. I mean as far as I can see mostly these people has so much talent in life. Like those gays who works at salons that styles our hair and other stuffs.

I heard that the gay community was disappointed with the President because he hasn't been doing much for them since he got elected. It's only reasonable to assume that he won't be able to keep all of his promises. He's only one man.

I wasn't aware that Obama was the first one to advocate for gay rights. Was Clinton for it too?

I'm not sure whether of not the current President was the first official advocate or not, but regardless of who publicly support gay rights, it doesn't necessarily change the people's mind or public opinion.
