I'm curious what you think about the whole "Balloon Boy" situation.

I honestly feel that the parents did it on purpose. Not sure if that was their intension in the first place, but I wouldn't put it past em. Have you seen any of the footage?

The parents should be made to pay for all the rescue efforts.
I don't mind if they get thrown in jail for a couple of days too ;-)

That would be amazing I just get this overall bad vibe from their father that he's not a very nice person. I worry about the kids.. may just be me being overly sensitive though. I tend to do that quite a bit

Well, it seems that it is pretty much proven to be a hoax by now, planned and set up for self-promotion. I think the parents will be fined, which is only fair. I believe the sheriff also mentioned the possibility of them going to jail?

People who go to extremes to self-promote themselves this way should be punished. Why should the public resources be wasted in vain and these people get away with it?
