Default saving money!!

I always see to it that I have put an amount to my saving every month. How about you, do you have your savings monthly or yearly? Do you budget specific amount for your savings?

I usually allot 10% of my income to savings. How about you? We should set aside a small amount of money for emergency purposes. In times when you have no money, we could always get some from it.

I still save money. I allocate 15% of my income to savings. Savings are really helpful specially when your sick. Anyway, where do you spend your saving?

Lately, I haven't been saving much but I don't have a specific amount when I do - depending on what kind of expenses we have in the course of the month, I will put on the side what extra I'll have left usually. I have a specific savings account which has no fees, that way, regardless of how much I have, at least I don't have to pay anything to keep the money there...

I try to put some money on my savings account every week, if I can. Here's how it works: I have a job, and what I make with that job goes for our family expenses. I also do some extra work, and what I earn there goes to the savings account. It is not a lot, but it adds up!

Living with my parents, they think the should be responsible for me and take care of me until Im married, so whatever I earn goes into savings, which I am very lucky in, as it means I will be financially stable when I get married.

Well, that is nice at least you are sure that you have a 10% savings every month. Do you normally deposit it in a bank or what? Some would try to invest it and take some risks in order to grow their savings while for others they would rather place it on their banks for safe keeping.

I don't take investment risks, way too many people have lost their money playing with stocks and such. Yes, interest rates for bank savings accounts are low, but I know my money is secure there.

As for me, I deposit my savings to the bank. I withdraw my money when I am badly in need. I have been thinking of investing it. Do you think it would be fine even if we are experiencing economic crisis?

I have my savings in bank however, I thought of investing my money. We shouldn't be worried much on the economic crisis for as long as we know what business to engage in. Does your partner save money as well?

My wife and I invest money monthly on an automatic withdrawal plan on specific dates. This ensures the investments are always made, and that we do not miss the money. I can only hope it is enough, as the banking world and the government do not always seem to have our interests at heart.

I used to save some money every month, but it is so hard to do that nowadays. Maybe I could start saving again in the near future.

I'm glad I came across this post again! I really want to work on this, because I used to have a few grand saved up but then a lot was going on and I had to get an apartment and all of that. It's soooo expensive moving into a new house! Especially for me, because I didn't have anything.. just random stuff. But, we had to get plates, bowls, pots and pans, towels, a tv, a couch. I mean, we LITERALLY had nothing..

My advice to anyone moving in with their bf or gf.. don't pay for it all and then let them pay you back, cuz you never know how long you're going to be with them
