Default What do you do before you sleep?

I really have lots of things to do before I go to sleep. One thing I would never miss to do is reading. Well, this is my way of preparing myself to sleep. I like to read any kinds of books. How about you?

Do you still drink a glass of milk before you sleep? Well, I still do. Before, I cannot sleep without drinking it, I don't know what could be the reason. Anyway, good thing I can go to sleep now without milk.

I usually set the timer on the tv to turn itself off in 30 minutes so
that when my wife finds me sleeping she wont yell at me for
sleeping with the tv on.

Me too! I read books just before I sleep but not too often though. What I really do before I sleep is brush my teeth, wash my face and sing some songs while playing a guitar. Singing requires a lot of breath thus, making me sleepy quickly.

Oh yes. It was also taught to me once that if you can't sleep, drinking warm milk will help you sleep quicker. I do it back often and its rally effective.

Ha ha ha! Good thing it worked on you so that you wouldn't be scolded by your wife.

Before I go to bed, I would watch the television first. I want to be updated with the current events before the day ends. I'm just curious, do you sleep ahead of the others?

I always pray before I go to sleep. Sometimes when I forget, I get awakened in the middle of the night.

I usually do something to try to unwind - drink a cup of tea, and either grab a book and read for a bit, or put on a DVD of one of my favorite BritComs. There's so many that I know by heart, I can just fall asleep watching them!

When you are in bed, do you used to have blanket or lots of pillows? For me, pillows is a big--big must in my bed. Because, they are soft to embrace at and gives you more comfort when sleeping.

Hi bethoven, me?..i prefer lots of pillows in my bed. Im not used to use blankets since i was young, maybe i think, one of the reason is our climate here in our place.

What time do you usually sleep?

10:00 pm is my usual schedule to sleep. Moreover, I still have lots of things to finish, lately. My 10:00 were moved to 11:30. LOL! How about you, do you have fix time to sleep?

I wish that I could say that I have a normal sleep schedule but I do not with being a writer and having dead lines it is so hard for me to say when I will go to sleep it depends on when I am done with my work. Then I take the dog for a wak read a little and go to bed usually crash abut 3 am

With your busy schedule, it's nice to know that you still manage to take your dog for a walk. If you don't have enough sleep, does it affect your work? How do you motivate yourself then?

I always seem to have trouble falling to sleep. I find, reading my fav book, watching my fav show, and taking a hot bath all relax me and help me to sleep through the entire night.

I mostly just pass out on the couch with my laptop if I am very exhausted but if I manage to actually keep my intention and go to bed before I get too tired, I meditate and read a little before sleeping.
