There have been various test by the cell phone companies and health departments; however, not one of them were absolutely conclusive on the results. There is still no proof that cell phones cause any brain malfunction so far.

Why is this in fashion? just curious?

Is it true that bottled water can cause breast cancer in women?

I think people just come up with things just to spend more money on testing. Job security for the testers.

No really, I think cell phones are fine to use. I'm not a doctor though.

Correct

Yet I am reminded of Nick Naylor ( Aaron Eckhart) in Thank you for not smoking

Don't worry too much about it. unless you are on the phone for
hours on end it should be ok. If you are concerned use a
handsfree device like headphones or bluetooth headsets.

neither does microwaves or for that matter X- rays

All that can be said in case of mobile phones is that nobody has come out with any conclusive results so far , but there are many studies that show mobile phones can be harmful if kept too close to the head, heart,lap... for tooo long , but there are studies that show the opposite too...

nothing happens if you are hugged by your husband/bf for hours...

hugging gives more deadly vibrations than these mobiles

I've heard this a lot, but mostly as a rumor. I think that cell phones can be linked to certain sicknesses, but not be a direct cause. This was probably even more true for the early cell phones.

I don't think cell phones have been around long enough to know the extent of damage they can cause. Maybe in another 20 years or so we will have a better idea.

I'm not sure if cellphones can cause brain issues... but I've read the back of the little pamphlet that comes with the phones out of curiosity and it really doesn't say too much. It says it may lead to.. but doesn't say for sure. I mean, if you think about it, if it does cause problems then we're all going to have to deal with it eventually because do you know how many radio waves go through the air. I mean, it's insane!! I'm sure we'll find a way to deal with it. Our bodies are good at adapting

I don't think that this news is true.. because all leading mobile phone manufacturers have to go on with many rules and regulations in its design, so that the use of these mobile phone does not cause any problem, if mobile phone can cause such problem, then it would have been banned.

I don't think that using cellular phones can cause brain hemorrhage. Hehe, that sounds weird to me. But I think the reason why others associate cellular phones to brain dysfunction is because they emit radiation. I have been using a cellphone for about 10 years now and I do not have any brain problem

I agree with ButterflyEs. I've heard the same thing. If you have an old cellphone manual laying around, it talks a lot about it in there. I mean, anything used too much is probably bad, so there may be something bad about talking on your cell, but I think it's very unlikely that you'll talk enough to have to worry about it
