Default Lights

We have different preferences when it comes to sleeping. With regard to light, would you usually turn it off or just leave it on? I can't sleep whenever my light is turned off. I am quite afraid of the dark. What about you?

I just leave on the lights on the lamp. My hubby can't sleep with the lights off. He's just so scared everytime there's a blackout at night he wont move in the bed he lets me go out and look for some candle. o.o

I suffer from sleeping disorders. So, what happens most of the time is that if I didn't get any sleep for an extended period, at some point, my body starts shutting down and I fall asleep whether it's day, night, dark or light.

Bed lamps can be put on during night time while sleeping, especially who have kids should have their bed lights on. We always have our bed lamp on when we sleep in the night.

I couldn't sleep with any of you! I have to have the lights out and the blinds shut in order to sleep . I like it nice and dark.

Hehe. It's just that I get used to keeping the lights on since I was young. It's really hard to change that habit.

Well, when I was still a kid it was really hard for me to sleep. However, my mom told me to practice sleeping without the lights on. Recently, I read a book that its really necessary to sleep that our light off to avoid much radiation. Are you aware of this radiation when we are using those lights?

I prefer my lights to be turned off when I sleep. That way, I could conserve electricity. Have you heard that when lights are turned on, you would be prone to cancer? I don't know if there would be scientific basis for that.

I believe you Reira, it's hard to change our habits. I just want to know, what would you do if there would be no electricity? How would you put yourself to sleep?

I can't sleep with the lights on. It has to be turned off, otherwise, I'd be awake all night.

I'm such a picky sleeper to be honest lol. I have to have no light, no sound, nothing. I have to have a pillow between my legs or be on my stomach in order to sleep at all. I also don't like to be touched, I always ask my bf to move away from me when I'm actually about to sleep.

Another thing that I find interesting that I am not able to sleep unless I let myself. Like, I was never one to fall asleep in class, or sitting up in a seat. I have to let myself before I can sleep. Maybe that's why I have spent so many nights staying up all night just for the heck of it lol
