What do you think is the difference between skills and talent? I'm a little bit consious of this term. Aren't they identical twin?

Skill is when you're good at something, but I think talent is a little more. I could be wrong. I think talent is when you have a great passion for something.. like, it's more outside of the box

A Skill is that an art which you have in you whether you utilize it or not, where as, Talent is that you effort for that and multiply it by utilising it, for example, you know how to draw or paint and once in a while you do that is a skill, where as, in talent you like music and don't know how to play, but you take interest in learning it and finally exhibits it and multiplies it in future.

I think talent is something that's already in you, while skill is something that can be develop by your self. Isn't it something confusing? Actually, I could sometimes find it hard to differentiate.

Does singing be categorized as your talent or skill? Some people say that singing is a skill, while the other says that its a talent. What is appropriate with them?

It is a talent, as far as i know.

Kinda confusing but if you are really a gifted singer then that makes it a talent. Since from birth you have the ability so sing with a good tune. Although you can develop it by some singing lessons is it now converted into skills? Really really confusing...

Recently, I asked my aunt about this talent and skill in music and dancing. She said that, this could be both talent and skill. Reira's explanation above describes here too. Now, do you think you have the skill or talent in singing?

In my own opinion, they are somewhat similar. Everybody has skills and talents. The difference would be is that, skill is something we all have while talent is a gift to do a particular thing. What do you think?

talent is something that you innately have ..... the talent for drawing

skill is something that comes with dedication ,education and practice... the skill for different styles of painting
