What can you say persons who commit suicide? Recently, I have heard news about this issue. The reason why he committed suicide was depression. Do you think its a valid reason to do this?

You know.. it's really hard for me to say. I mean, we all can relate to sadness to come degree. Then, when you try to relate with depression, it's really hard to unless you've had it. I have it and let me tell you.. some days you literally feel like NOTHING matters. In the back of you mind, sure you know that you have so many things to live for, but the depression just takes the wheel and becomes life. It's tough. I mean, I've thought about suicide, but I can't imagine actually doing it. I would think you would really have to lose hope for a really long time to do something so final. What a sad thing to feel!!!

That's really sad thing, abeja. Good think you did commit suicide. Do you know that it is really bad and its a mortal sin? You should be thankful you're still alive, you still have time to spend with your family and friends. I guess, you're also lucky that God gave you that problem and you're be able to surpass the challenge.

Yeah I think commiting suicide will only make you look like a coward for not facing reality and be able to surpass them will all your might. It's not good to think negatively like it's the end for you. For all I know every problem has its solution but not suicide.

You're perfectly right, reira. Are you aware that there are lots men who commits suicide than women? They said that men are wiser than women, do you think committing suicide is one of their eager beaver decision?

There are lots of reasons why people commit suicide. All of it are invalid ones. Suicide is never an answer to our problems. How would we manage depression? Well for me, it would always be best to talk to someone. We have to express it out.

Depression can lead to suicide. Depression is more than feeling sad about your circumstances or life in general. When you are depressed your thinking is clouded. You may have uncontrolled impulses that cause you to do things that you would not normally do or even think of doing - such as suicide.

I agree with you, brandy. When we are depressed we really have to release that negative emotion otherwise it would lead to something bad. Maybe talking to somebody would help. Do you agree that prayer is the best cure of this?

This is very true Reira. Every padlocks have their own manufactured keys. Suicide will never be an answer. Besides, problem makes you a better person. How do you motivate a person who is depressed?

Some people who are depressed are not aware that their depression has gone to deeply and they are not in touch with the real world anymore. It is the people around them who should realize what is happening to him and should act. Suicidal tendency is normal for deeply depressed people.

Do you think those people who committed suicide still have a chance to stay in heaven? They said it is a mortal sin. I am not sure if God would still accept them?

This is a difficult question. The church used to be very strict about it, those who committed suicide would not even be allowed to be buried on a Christian cemetery. I do hope though that God looks at every soul on an individual basis, and shows mercy when He sees fit.

I guess we cannot blame the church. However, in my opinion, I think they shouldn't be treated that way. We are not the one who will judge the person, only God has the authority to that. Do you think there are some churches who still have this tradition or belief?

Some people who commit suicide probably needed serious help. I have personally known at least three people who have commited suicide. Talking to the parents of one of these people we were told something very interesting. The victims can hide it very well, and even when medicated for the condition can still commit the deed. All it takes is one moment when they are overwhelmed and alone, and then it takes place. At that specific time in their lives, their depression and feelings were so overwrought that they did what to others seems irrational. So sad really.

Sometimes, even with medication. people who are depressed feel so hopeless and alone. There should be emotional and moral support from family and friends of depressed individuals. Medications alone don't work.

Self believe is most important believe that you are happy if you are depress. I am doing that.

Sadly, suicide is the last recourse for some people who see no other way of getting our their troublesome situations. These people need emotional support, but most of them are given medications or just simply left to deal with their problems on their own. Personally, I don't believe suicide resolves anything. On the other hand, if we look at it in a more spiritual way, the soul might have decided to experience this horrible even upon entering into its contract to become a physical being. It is not easy to understand the reasons behind the one's decision to end their own lives.

I always feel sooo terrible for people who have committed suicide. On the other hand, I can relate, like I said in my previous post. I'm soooo glad that I'm here now and I'm glad that I never went through with it. I mean, life is amazing. You only have one chance at it, so why not pull through, things will always get better in the end.

ALWAYS ask for help! Always talk to someone!! It's not a bad thing to need help. I was sooo worried that it meant I was a weak person, but that's definitely not the case. It takes a STRONG individual to open to others and ask for what they need!!

Suicide is a way of telling., I QUIT.. Only cowards to do that,, But its not a solution to any problem.. And it is also regarded as Sin by many faith's..
