Default dry lips?

Does anyone here knows some products to soften dry lips aside from lip gloss and Vaseline Intensive Care petroleum jelly? I tend to have dry lips and they get flaky, I would be tempted to peel them off because flaky parts are annoying.

Here is a natural cure for you. Take some pure olive oil(Bertonolli Olive Oil,made in Italy-it works well for me,not sure of spelling) and apply it to your lips regularly until your lips are fine. I have tried this on myself and it works.

I always use lipbalm as my daily lip care. It is really effective. Try it.

Sorry no, the best thing I have found for dry lips is Vaseline. The best time to apply it though is before you go to bed. Never apply Vaseline and then go out into the sun. As I found out, Vaseline can act like an oil and in the sun your lips can become very sore.

apply freshly squeezed aloe vera gel on your lips. This will not only take care of the dryness but also work at lessening the darkness of the lips.

Another effective remedy is to rub cucumber slices on your lips. Cucumber contains a lot of moisture, which it transfers to the lips when you rub it. The only problem is that you will have to keep rubbing the cucumber slices throughout the day at regular intervals.

Mary Kay has a product that you can get. It is a 2 step treatment for your lips. The first step you scrub your lips. It takes all the dry skin off of your lips. The second step is a moisturizer for the lips. The second step reminds me of vasiline, so it can be used as a gloss too.

Do you use acne products that have peeling properties? Those products are the culprit of my dry lips so I try to avoid the area around my lips whenever I apply those products.

Anyway, constant application of Blistex Complete Moisture works for me. Don't lick your lips, it will only dry it more.

Apply butter every night before going to bed. This will help to reduce skin dryness. Also drink more water.

Default dry lips?

Hot water fomentation followed by a mixture of Vaseline and honey applied
on the lips at least thrice a week will prevent lips from chapping. Use peanut or coco butter to cure dryness.

Yes, virgin olive oil does the trick for me as well. And since every kitchen should have olive oil, you don't need to spend extra money to buy lipcare products either. If you also increase the quantity of your water intake, your lips should be fine in no time.

Instead of using petroleum based lip balms, try switching to organic honey and beeswax lipbalms, and within a couple of days you will notice how much softer your lips are.

Try using warm water in a sponge or cloth. Dip the sponge or cloth in warm water, then gently press it against your lips. Do it 3 - 4 times.

This will help minimize the dryness of your lips.

Thank you for that tips, guys. Do you think eating tomatoes would help you to have a red lips? Well, this is actually what my mom told me when I was still a kid.

If you have dry lips.. just wash it with pure water and use your tounge to make it wet. and try to move your lips more often so that it doesnt become so dried up that it forms some kind of wrinkles.

I always have dry lips and I always make sure that I keep lip balm with me at all times. I especially maks sure that I use lip balm at night before going to bed. Then my lips feel soft in the morning. If I don't they start to hurt and are dry.

I think it's important to hydrate yourself so that you won't have dry lips. And of course, a good lip balm will help. Use lipstick with moisturizers.

To remedy dry lips also use lip balm or lip gloss with vitamin E. It will help your dry lips and also lots of water for rehydrating. Dehydration causes the lips to dry.
