Default Toothbrush Sharing?

I've known many people who share their toothbrush with their significant other. Could you ever do that? I find it pretty gross myself. I mean, I know you make out with em and all of that, but getting their food on your teeth.. ick! It grosses me out just thinking about it!!!!

I would never share my toothbrush with anyone. That is very improper. There are things that are meant to be shared but not this one. Why don't they buy another one? If there would be no available toothbrush then, to gargle would be an option.

I have shared my toothbrush with my husband in the past. He had forgotten his at home when we were at our hotel room and instead of running out to get another one, we shared mine. I would probably not want to make it into a habit, as like the other person mentioned, toothbrushes can be replaced. However, I figure, since I exchange saliva while kissing him and like it just fine, it is not as bad that he uses my toothbrush if he really has to.

It grosses me out too, lol. If I really had to I guess I would share, but first I would clean the toothbrush with alcohol and then again after he used it.

Oh my gosh, that is so gross!! I would rather brush my teeth with my finger than share a toothbrush. That is just nasty!

I would never share my toothbrush with anyone ever. Even my husband doesn't get to share it. I'd just make him eat lots of tic-tacs if he forgot his.

Heh. It's gross, really, but if my partner forgets to bring his own toothbrush when we are in some other place, I would gladly share him my toothbrush! -_- I have no choice but to let him lend it, but I am sure that he wouldn't use my toothbrush. Although it would be fine with me, it wouldn't be fine with him! he's kind of vain. Haha.

All I did was read the title to this post and go Urgh! That is so nasty.

I don't know anyone who would admit to doing that.

I admit to doing that, but only inadvertently, I was half asleep
and did not notice the different toothbrush.

I can not even think about it, its realy very nasty

@Farce: by mistake and sharing it are really different man, what if your other half says use my toothbrush today
If it happens with me then I think I will prefer not to brush on that day

Why???
I'll just put a dab of paste on my finger and use that as a brush.

I would certainly not share my toothbrush to anyone. That is very untidy. Bethoven is right. If you cannot brush your teeth then, try to gargle. We could actually use our fingers or I think cotton to clean our teeth. Flossing would be helpful too. Do you agree?

No, it's unhygienic. I don't even like drinking in the bottle. I hope I'll never be in a position where I'd have to share my toothbrush.

Nope, I have never done this and I never would. Yes, I always clean my toothbrush after I use it, and so does he, so the brushes are clean; but some things you just don't do. There are personal items, especially those related to hygene, that are personal.
