Default Whitening Teeth Naturally

A lot of people want to have their teeth bright and white, but don't know how to and think that going to the dentist is the only way, but it isn't.

You can use many natural methods to whiten your teeth, and below I have mentioned some steps which can be carried out at home in order to whiten teeth naturally.

1. Reduce the amount of drinks which cause the tooth enamel to stain, such drinks include coffee, tea, red wine, carbonated drinks. If your someone who drinks a lot of carbonated drinks, and can not stop, then consider drinking with a straw, so that the drink has less contact with the teeth.

2. Make it a habbit to brush your teeth immediately after eating

3. Rub raw strawberries on your teeth, and if you can puree them, then its even better. The enzyme in strawberries actually acts as a whitening agent, but make sure after you have rubbed them on your teeth, brush your teeth to remove the sugars and acids.

4. Eating crunchy foods like carrots, broccoli, apples and so on help in removing plaque which makes the appearance of teeth dull.

5. Brush using baking soda, simply dip the brush into baking soda, the taste may be bad, but the results are worth it.

6. Make a paste of lemon juice and one teaspoon of salt, and use this paste to brush your teeth.

Default Whitening Teeth Naturally

Brushing teeth with lemon juice or rubbing the peel across the teeth. Vegetables such as celery, carrots, broccoli and cucumber are naturally abrasive and act like little toothbrushes that scrub away stains.

I tried salt as whitening agent for my teeth and it really work. Salt removes stains in the enamel. I don't know if there is a difference if you use rock salt or very fine salt.

Thank you for that, information, neetu. By the way, is their any alternative for strawberries? Would it be alright if I'll use apple? Do you think it would still be useful?

Nice tips. I actually saw at the Ellen Degeneres' show that you can actually scrub your teeth with the insides of your peeled orange skin.

I only knew about the baking soda for naturally whitening teeth but the other ones sound great. I am a smoker so I have to pay even more attention to keeping my teeth white. I will be trying these tips and hopefully be able to maintain the pearly whites.

When using the lemon juice and salt paste does it matter if the lemon juice is natural or bottled? I have not tried it yet and I want to make sure that I use the right combination.
