OK--- So I have been planting flowers for about 3 weekends now. I got a bunch from my friend and planted those. I planted my flower boxes last weekend.

I love flowers- I love flower beds. I hate to plant them. A couple weekends ago, my daughter and I planted over 60 bulbs... that is shoveling 60 holes! last weekend we got plants from my friend-- bigger holes- only about 30.

I went and bought my Zinnias on Friday- I love them. They are my favorite Annual. I got a flat of them- Guess where I'm heading? Yep to plant more.

Anyone love flowers?

I love flowers too. I am lucky, I plant them and my husband weeds them Weeding is the worst part to me.

Just think how pretty it is going to look when all of those bulbs bloom!

I haven't planted anything yet. It has been such crappy weather I am afraid that we will get another frost.

We've got almost all of it planted. Just got some daffodil bulbs from work. These won't come back until next year. I hate weeding too- This year I'm doing it different. I have been out there each night pulling whatever I see that isn't a flower. No way am I going to let it get all weedy! I'm staying on top of it.

I can't wait until the flowers bloom!

I'm puttering more this year with my gardens instead of trying to cram all of the spring clean up and etc stuff into just a few weeks. My gardens are in need of a major overhaul as I'm trying to switch to more shrubs and things that take less care than perennials or annuals. But I did get my back garden done. It's a shade garden with various types of hostas, heucheras, and things that really like the shade in it. I couldn't resist buying some annuals too so it's got begonias, coleus, petunias, and some alyssum and dusty miller too. Mostly I'm going for color from foliage instead of flowers themselves back there though.

What is your favorite flower plant in your garden? We have a lot of flowering plants in our garden, like orchids, rose, daisy, bougainvillea, and etc. Rose and orchids are my most favorite among all.

I've got orchids in my garden and anthuriums in my greenhouse. Then I got foliage plants all around. And some jasmine to keep the air fragrant in the evenings.

Flowers is one of the greatest gift of nature,I like bloomed flowers. If you feel worry you can go to your nearest garden and watch the flowers, that time your mind will change freely and happily it is 100 percent true.

I was outside weeding last night for about an hour. Ugh My fingernails were so hard to clean. I have more to do still- I went on vacation for a week and then camped for a couple of weekends, so the flower beds went crazy.

The Zinnias are gorgeous right now. I'm so glad I got them planted. I also have a lot of Glad's popping up and they are so pretty.

I'm with you. I love flowers and flower gardens, but I don't like the manual work to put them in. Don't really like the pulling weeds part either.

I love flowers, but I prefer green plants that I keep in the house all year long. I don't have a green thumb, so I usually for the ones that don't require a lot of maintenance. Even just watering them at the right time seems to be something that I can't get right, lol.
