Have you grown your own cabbage? Any tips you can share? I tried planting some a couple of years ago, but it did not grow well enough. We still used it, and it tasted good, but I was hoping for those large, leafy cabbage plants, and mine were rather small.

When I still a child, I ever grew cabbages just for fun. It grew quite well actually without me nourishing it LOL. Anyway, you can try vermicompost (the mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast) or the pure vermicast/worm casting. It works well for vegetables.

I really must say, I look up to anyone here who gardens. I find it amazing.. I don't think I'd have the patience lol

| Growing cabbage is a challenge. But if you water, fertilize and weed them regularly, they will grow and have large leafy cabbage. It is best to water your plants in the morning, fertilize them at least once a week and weed them regularly.
