Default Jasmine Flowers

We all love flowers and nature has so many varieties of flowers. Jasmine at some places has lot of medicinal properties. If your eye is inflamed you can use the juice of a single flower to wash your eyes to soothe off. The extract from the jasmine flower is also helpful in removing corns and for curing ulcers in the mouth. The jasmine plant has the capacity to expel worms. It works for controlling menstrual bleeding, normal fevers and for soothing burns too. In India we find several varieties of Jasmine but out of these only 12 types have medicinal value. Its fragrance is so beautiful that it is used by cosmetic and perfume industry all over India

Jasmine flowers are so gorgeous! They have always been my favorite. My little sisters' name is Jazmynne so I'll never forget the name of them lol. It's interesting to learn more about them. Thanks!

We have four Jasmines in our garden, two varieties, but I don't know their names. I didn't even know that Jasmine had these medicinal properties until now, so thank you for the post.

My grandma has a nice, large bush of jasmine in front her window. I loved the fragrance, but a neighbor who lived very close by didn't - she complained she was getting a headache because of it. I suppose not everyone enjoys it.

Thanks San for sharing the info. I hear that Jasmine has medicinal benefits, but I never know what they are. You make it clear. I hear also that it has romantic effect also if you put it in your bedroom.

I like the scent of jasmine. In fact I use to gather some flowers at dusk and put them in my bedroom so that I can smell them when I go to sleep. It is very soothing as an aromatherapy. My favorite perfume is also jasmine based.
