Default Winter garden indoors?

Does anyone have or plan to have a winter garden indoors? I am talking about growing vegetables. I have grown green onion during winter, it is probably the easiest. I hear tomatoes can do well indoors, too.

A garden indoors sounds both very beautiful and very surreal. I've never had a garden before, but indoors is something to consider. What other fruits or vegetables can be grown indoors? What do you do about lighting?

That's a fantastic idea.. my mom and her bf were always growing things inside. I think it helped her remember to take care of the plants

I read about these hydroponic systems for indoor gardening & found it quite good. Finally I made such a system at home, of course thanks to my man who made it. I can grow lettuce, tomatoes, mint & also few herbs. I also sent a sample to laboratory where I work as intern & got its nutrients tested which were of good quality.
Has anyone tried such systems?

Hmmm nice thought although I'm afraid that method here isn't gonna work. Mostly our indoor plants are only flowers and some other plants that aren't bearing anything.
