She may start to plant her favorite flowers. However, to have hanging plants is one thing that I could suggest to your friend, kyles. Do you think she loves orchids? I guess, this would be one of the best hanging flowering plant that she could have.

Does your friend like yellow colors? If so, sunflowers would be great in her garden. It is one of the beautiful flowers I have ever seen. My aunt used to have it in her garden but one of her dogs destroyed it.

Before I think that roses are the best flowers to plant. But not I notice there are many beautiful orchids which will surely decorate your garden nicely. The only drawback of orchids is that they lack fragrance.

It depends on her taste and on how much time she is willing to spend taking care of the flowers. If she does not mind re-planting throughout the season, so that the garden is always blooming, there is a wide variety of short-term blooms. And if she prefers to have something planted once that would bloom all summer (like me!), I'd suggest flowers like impatients.

Do you have a huge garden? It would be best to have different types of flowers like roses, daisy, jasmine and lavender. It would surely make your garden more colorful.

Lavender is great to have in a garden. Except that they are beautiful, it smells so nice and can be used for a variety of things. I put lavender bags in my cupboards and between the books on the bookshelve to keep the fishmoths away.

My favorite flowers right now in my garden are zinnia's. They are annuals though and you have to plant them each year.

When I started a new flower garden I bought perrineals and annuals. The flowers that just keep coming up year after year are more expensive to buy, but in the long run are cheaper. I love hyacinths and roses too.

I think the best things that can be grown would be lavender and rose bushes. They are both aesthetically beautiful and have a very pleasant scent. Plus, you can dry the lavender and put them in little cotton bags to place them in your drawers later on to give your linen and clothing a nice, fresh scent.

it all depends on what your friend actually likes. there are different variations of flowers, colors and types. some grow as bushes, some as tall stems, some are pastels in color, some are bright and vivid. there are also flowers that have medicinal or healing purposes. they don't only provide beauty but also give other benefits such as pleasant smell or can be used as herbal medicine.
