Nowadays it can be observed that more and more people are getting into the habit of just wearing slippers or flip flops everywhere they would go! Guess, its because of the necessity and the ease and facility offered by these flip flops that makes them so popular in use. During ordinary outings, which would you prefer, shoes or flip flops?

For years I wasn't able to wear toe post flip flops as I found them uncomfortable, but last year I finally managed to get into the habit of wearing them and I haven't looked back since.

I love my flip flops! Obviously there are times when we need to wear something a little smarter maybe, but if I'm being casual, then it's flip flops every time

it really depends on the occassion. when i'm undecided about what to wear, i slip on a comfy pair of sneakers or flat ballet shoes.

Flip flops for me! I love them. They are very comfortable. I can just slip them on and off I go. I love that they are also so cheap that I can get them in many colors. I can wear them with jeans, shorts, capris and sundresses.

Flip flops! I have at least 15 pairs. I make sure that I buy the really comfy ones, not the cheap plastic flip flops which hurt.

When it's raining I wear shoes though.

Sadly enough, I have never been able to wear flip flops. I find them very uncomfortable and even for short distance walks, my feet hurt really bad if I happen to be wearing them. Thus, for me, it's always shoes.

I prefer using flip flops rather than shoes. But I think it still depends on the occasion or event your going to and the type of feet that you have, because some people have big foot that it's not really good if they will use flip flops that will surely show their feet.

yes, i do agree with kyle414 it would depend on the occasion that you are going to. If the occasion is formal then flip flops would not match the occasion. so any suggestions of what kind of footwear that we should use for different occasion?

flip flops i believe r always worn under casual clothes......n are worn for casual outings.....

obviously at a formal occasion or some party once would not pair formal or dressy clothes with flip flops.....a total NO NO

Yes i agrees with you aashaka, Flip flops goes with your casuals wear and casual gatherings. For formal wears you have to go with formal shoes.

I second that Ladybird, it all depends on the type of clothes you are wearing and where your going. But generally speaking and getting back to the question in this thread, I like flip flops as well as shoes...........I'm a big fan of shoes!!!!!

I'd choose flipflops because I want to let my toes breathe out some fresh air rather than be enclosed in shoes. I find flipflops more comfortable and easy to wear everywhere I go.

Flip flops for me, i go which i feel comfortable and gives my feet breath. My feet hurts when so covered with my sneakers.

I Have around 25-26 Pairs Of Flip-flops,In This Hot Summer I Love Flip-Flops and Floaters,They Looks very Cool and The Main Thing which i Like is They are very comfortable Also,I avoid Wearing High Heels.

I will use flip flops in my home. I try to wear shoes if am going for official work. Otherwise i prefer to wear slippers. It has many advantages like easy to walk, comfortable, no pain and strain .........

As usual flipflops are the best footwear especially during summer. The trend here now is flipflops in any outfit. Flipflops are very comfortable and outgoing.

i would only wear shoes in the office and when the occasion calls for it. i prefer wearing flip-flops when i go to the mall or somewhere casual such as the beach or a friend's house.

I'm more of a shoes person...although I'm not into the leather kind these days...I like wearing my CROCS to work (would you believe that??!! ha!ha!) and also when I'm out shopping.

Is that allowed to be worn at work? Here they are very strict with business attire. You can only wear flipflops or any other comfy stuffs during break.

I prefer shoes. I don't like feet, and I don't like to show my own feet. I wear socks and shoes everywhere. I live in Texas, and no matter what the weather is, I wear shoes, especially in the summer. Maybe that's just my personality.

I think it's fine since you're comfortable with shoes. I love wearing flipflops because its comfy and good for summer time. I always want some air for my feet to breathe in.
