Do you buy food that isn't name brand? I have no qualms about doing this, especially if the off brand is cheaper. It may surprise you to know that the off brand tastes just as good as its name brand counterpart.

I don't really care about if something is name brand or not. But, if there's something that stands out to me for one reason or another, then I'll pick it over the generic. Can't really say why though lol

The only food I buy which is branded is hotdogs, since my hubby doesn't like off brands of it he said it tastes like flour. The rest are off brands I don't even know why some have to buy all branded stuffs when it comes to foods.

Most of the items I buy are generic. They are so much cheaper and most of the things taste just the same as the name brand items. The only thing I always buy name brand is gatorade. The other sports drinks just aren't the same.

Except for a couple of items that my husband says taste different in the off-brand version, I buy off-brand all the time. It is considerably cheaper, and as you say, the quality and taste is the same, so why spend more.

I just love discovering that a store brand tastes really good. At the Kroger near my house, a lot of their value brands taste really good, so we buy them more than the name brand. Many times, the store brand is the same as the name brand in another package.
