I'm not really into fancy meals...or eating off fine dishes. Is there anyone like that? My mom has lots of really nice dishes, but I don't like to eat off them. I don't know why, but I've always preferred to eat the food that I prepare right out of the container.

I don't like fancy stuff either. I'm totally fine eating tv dinners and little simple things like that. People think I'm crazy but even if I go to a fancy restaurant, I always get the same stuff. I'll get french fries or something like that.

I don't mind eating off a paper towel or a paper plate. I like it; there's less to clean up, and it's harder for me to make a mess. I usually end up ordering something similar to chicken fingers at a casual restaurant.

Sometimes I do fancy stuffs when eating but the dishes are overflowing lolz. When I'm alone at home I don't prepare much food since I could just eat some plain sandwich as my dinner and use some disposable stuffs to avoid doing a lot of work in the kitchen.

Fancy eating at home usually means it either takes a long time to prepare or it takes a long time to clean up afterward. I'm just not into that. When I'm hungry, I'm thinking more about the food than the preparation.

I am more simple when I eat by myself, but I don't mind preparing a "proper" meal when the family is eating together. By "proper" I mean regular plates and silverware, nothing too fancy. For a special holiday meal though, I can do some extra decorating, get out nicer dishes.

I don't believe in going through any kind of special ritual like setting out the good dishes or using the special silverware because I just don't care. It doesn't bother me when other people do it, though. Good for them.
