Aerobics is a very interesting form of exercising, it is really fun as it is just like dancing. Also it helps in reducing extra fat in a very natural way which and the effect remains for long, it also gives the pleasure of dance for those who like to.

Aerobics burns more fat because its cardio exercise which means it keeps the heart rate high during thr workout. There are so many forms of aerobics, such as step aerobics, water aerobics, high impact low impact aerobics and so on. Its definatly a fun form of exercise and does you leave you satisfied once you have completed it. |

I have tried aerobics a few times using a aerobics dvd, but i found it very boring after the third day. I found myself repeating the same thing over and over again. It maybe the case that everyone has their own ways of exercise and everyone prefers different methods, or maybe i can try doing it with someone, which will make it fun. What do you guys think? |

Same thing occurred to me Anu! I got bored after few times. but I guess one just have to think of ways to keep the fire burning for this form of activity. Maybe choreographing some dance would make the difference.

You know when I tried Aerobics and bought a DVD of it, I got bored of doing it too. But try to do it in groups and you'll find it fun. And effective too. I did lose some weight because of it.

Actually, weightlifting increases your lean mass which boosts your metabolism and allows your to burn more calories 24 hrs per day. You do not get this benefit from aerobic exercise. Also, one of the exercises which causes the most injuries is distance running (bad knees, shin splints, ankle sprains, etc.) which is an aerobic exercise. I really have to concentrate when I do areobics because I don't then I mess up on the steps and it throws me off. Usually I have to watch the routine before I really get it down. But when I'm flowing through it, it's great.
