Default Fitness is long term

Fitness is a long term process and there are no short cuts to it. Fitness needs disciplined that needs to be followed religiously and in the right way. You have to lead a disciplined life. Stress in the life can make you weak and low energy. So concentrate on exercises that will distress. Distressing is the first step to being fit. Sleep as much as you can. You have to give your body the amount of sleep it requires otherwise all fitness regimes will go down the drain and you will be left exhausted and tired. It is essential that you sleep for at least 8 hours a day to be fit and healthy. If you want to practice yoga then you need to have the patience for it. At any point do not starve but eat small meals in a day. Consult a trainer to guide you with exercises that will compliment your body. Do not follow the same work out for too long. Mix your workout.

Fitness is a life-long thing. I've learned that there's no instant or easy way to getting in shape, either. Diet pills and starving yourself aren't the ways to do it. You just have to start out small and make a few changes to your habits and lifestyle.

I'm absolutely agreeing with you that it's absolutely necessary to find the right exercises for the body with the help of the trainer. Every person is unique one and for reaching the success in the fitness you should take into consideration your uniqueness.

Great point! I think it's best to find what works best for your body. For me, it's walking and swimming. Sadly, I haven't had a place to swim in a while

If only losing weight was as easy as it was gaining it. Once I get back into shape, I know that I don't want to jeopardize it with foolish habits like binge eating. It takes too much time and effort to get back in good shape.

I think a lot of people exercise one day and get so proud of themselves that they will end up overeating because they feel they 'deserve it'. I myself have done this, and I think the key is not over-rewarding yourself and trying to set a consistent schedule so you don't become overwhelmed. Don't expect too much from yourself early on.

I wish more people understood it that if you want to be fit, or get back in shape, you must do something about it on a regular basis. I know someone who is upset about having gained weight, and he might suddenly decide to start jogging; he'll jog one mile, and that would be it. On the next day, he is back to doing nothing.
