Default What do define fitness as?

My definition of fitness is being able to climb the stairs without being out of breath and other things like that. I know that when i go up the stairs and i get our of breath it means im not in a fit shape, this is like an indication for me.

In order to be fit, i generally start doing a little exercise, maybe fast pace walking for 20mins a day. This is also something which would keep anyone fit and would not even exhaust you.

Fitness means feeling good and healthy from the inside and not just the outside.

fitness means being healthy from the inside, feeling good, for example like not getting out of breath when climbing a set of stairs, if you do get out of breath by the time you reach the top of a stair case it shows your not fit, thus your fitness level is low

Fitness is being in shape. This isn't just for the body, but for the mind and spirit as well. Fitness means having a good, positive attitude and self-esteem. It also means treating your body right and always being good to it.

Yes, you are absolutely right that fitness is the perfect method to be in a good shape. But it will help you much more if you will exercise in the company of the friends. The effect from the exercises will increase in the friendly psychological climate.

I feel really fit when my clothes look good on my body or if my clothes are really loose, I feel like I'm getting in better shape. If you still have lots of energy after exercise or after a long day, then I would consider that fit, too.

I mostly associate fitness with being physically in shape and not carrying extra weight, but I like the idea of including the state of mind in it as well - being happy where you are in life, appreciating all the good things, and being able to handle what you can't change.

A lot of people confuse being fit and not overweight or not fat as the same thing, but they're different. There are a lot of people who are mildly overweight, but are perfectly healthy. There are also lots of people who have very little fat on their bodies, but aren't very healthy at all.
