I just recently got back into doing pilates. It is really good for your back, belly, thighs, and butt, and transforms your body. You can see results within a couple weeks. Has anyone else tried pilates? What do you think about it?

Yes I have tried Pilates and I LOVE IT! It does work out your muscles well. You really have to concentrate on your muscles while you doing it. So that helps with focus. I would do it everyday if I could.

I've started doing pilates before but was not able to do it regularly. It is not strenous but it develops muscles strength. I will try doing some again.

I haven't tried doing pilates, but I have heard lots of good things about the exercise. Is doing pilates really vigorous? How often do you do it? Does it make you sweat a whole lot?

I have not tried pilates, and from just looking at the exercises, I don't think it is for me. I prefer working out on a machine - treadmill, elliptical, etc. I also like walking with no "tools" involved. I don't think I would enjoy doing pilates.

| I did pilates with my mom when I was younger and OMG I was in a lot of pain, but not in a bad way. You use all these muscles you never realized you had!!!
