Default How Many Kids Do You/Did You Want?

I always thought I would never have kids, but I've been thinking about it more lately.. not that I'm ready yet or anything, but I can actually picture it happening. I really love the guy I'm with, and I could see him being a very good father. He is so supportive, sensitive, just perfect for me really. Just typing this, I wish he was here so I could give him a big hug

I'm starting to think, maybe I wasn't thinking I could ever have kids, because all I'd ever seen growing up was the bad situations that my mother was in and I never wanted to put another child through something like that. Now that I have Chris, I can imagine giving a kid a great life.

Now to answer the question lol.. gosh I talk a LOT!!
I think 1 or possibly two would be fine. 2 is kind of pushing it. I want to make sure that when the time comes, I can support my child(ren) and make sure they can make it in life. I want to teach them all the things I wish I was taught early on, and be everything my parents weren't.

I think I'll end up adopting if anything, because I don't feel comfortable with giving birth lol. I saw my mom have a few kids, and I don't think it's for me.. I'd rather help a life that's already started than create a brand new one.

I did not want to have children, ever. Now we are expecting our first one, and I hope to stop at that. Hubby wants more... Up to four, actually. I might consider #2 sometime, but that would be it. 4? Over my dead body.

Well boys do love a big happy family since they don't know the pain of laboring a child. For me 2 is enough with a girl and a boy in the family I think I'll be so happy with that. Today it's not really advisable to be having such many kids since raising them all would be difficult.

Labor is bad enough, but raising them is even worse since it's a 24/7 job for the next 18 years. Some people don't fully realize it, I guess. I know my husband does, and I know he will be a good dad; that helps a lot in this whole process.

When I was younger, I never wanted kids, and I never wanted to get married, but now my views have changed on both of those topics. I want kids, but I don't want to give birth to them. I don't think I even want to have my DNA be a part of it. That's why I'll adopt. I would rather give a child that's already in this world a home. Two is all I want. Too many children can be stressful.

That's a very noble thing you want to do hirami. I am sure you will be blessed for giving a home to an orphaned child. Would you prefer to adopt a baby or an older kid?

18 years is a very long time. I can't even imagine where I'll be in the next year.. that's why having a kid scares me. If I KNEW I was stable and had a plan and had enough money, then maybe I would think of it. But, I'd rather not be in charge of raising a child. I really look up to people who do it. I know it's not an easy thing to do

I wanted to have two children and that is exactly what I have right now. I don't plan on getting pregnant again either.
