Default Problems in wanting to conceive

Im going to be honest as I need some good help and advice.

Ive been married for 5 years now, and due to not having secure jobs as I was on a contract and my husbands company was shutting down, so we did not want to have a kid. But both of us now have permanent and secure jobs which means we are ready for a kid.
During the process of problems with my job and some financial stress I gained weight and it reached around 90kg, and later on found out I have and hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) and pcos. My thyroid is under control and pcos is gone, but I also got a cyst!
Yes a lot of help problems, and this is mainly because of hormones, and now my weight is 85kg, and that's another factor depressing me.

I have told my doctor that I want to plan for a baby now, and she put me on pills so that my periods get regulated, I have taken a 2 mths course and in the mean time I have come to my parents home which is in another state. I was due to go back to doctor when my periods started last time, i told here I was not in town, so she told me to continue with another pack of pills (which is for 21 days). But when I finished my last pack, which has been about 9 days, I have not started my periods of yet?

This has got me worried, last time this happened the doctor gave me some tablets to start my periods, and they started.

Should i call the doctor up again and ask her what to take, or just wait for another week?

So I have all these problems and its scaring me to whether I will be able to have kids or not. Am i too late to have kids, I mean have my chances reduced a lot?

Although you should go to your doctor asap or phone them up, like in your case you said your away from your home, I would also suggest waiting for another 2 days or so, just to see if your periods will start.

It may not be the best opinion according to you and others, but I find that sometimes if i wait then its better than taking medications to make my periods start, but don't let the days exceed more than 15 days!
