This may be like a stupid question, but there is a lot to this when thought about....what is fashion?

Fashion has a different meaning for everyone, so i thought why not open a thread asking what is fashion and see what everyone's views are.

To me fashion is not just getting or wearing the latest products, but wearing what you are comfortable in too (which is the most important thing). You don't always have to have the latest designs or styles of attire to be in fashion, as fashion is what you wear and make it.

What do you guys think?

Well for me fashion is being in with the latest trends and style. Its natural to follow fashion trends, and as I'm working i like going to work wearing the best and important fashionable clothing, and its not just work even when going out with friends and family.

Although fashion is important to me, but i don't ever choose anything which i don't like, i have to like a product first then wear it, even if it means its the latest fashion!

I think too much is thought about fashion which, lets face it, is just a way to sell us more clothes and things.

Fashion is putting together a look that you feel comfortable wearing. Why on earth should you worry if this years colour is petrol blue or dove grey. Madness.

Just be true to yourself and wear what you look good in and what is comfortable.

Fashion is what the fashion moguls and editors of prestigious magazines like W say is in for the season. It's trendy and what's in today is no longer fashionable tomorrow. It's an artificial standard that is in constant flux and necessarily so in order for the fashion industry (designers, garment manufacturers, fashion magazines, models, etc. etc.) to make money. Whether you choose to be fashionable or not is something you must decide, but realize that there is a difference between fashion and style. I would much rather be a person of style than a fashionable person.

Fashion is a wearable form of art. Fashion is the product of a creative mind that also has a practical use. There are individuals that have a gift to design fashion that appeal to the eyes, personality and emotions of many consumers.

Fashion is a popular habit, anyone, anything, could produce a pandemic.
