Default Winter problems with the skin.

I have the so called problem skin on the face. And my skin problems grows vigorously in the winter time. The cold definitely provokes the reddening of my face and desquamation. What is the cure of such problems?

You should check out whether your skin problem is cold sores caused by virus which develop sores & finally cause reddening of skin. Using oils like lavender, marigold or tea tree can provide some relief but you need to get checked with a dermatologist.
If its normal drying of skin or eczema, a home remedy would be oatmeal tablespoon with bowl of warm water used to give skin washes. Use of lotions & moisturizers will help although they are not a cure.

I would say, try to keep your skin hydrated. There are many products out there that would work great for you. You can also contact a dermatologist for more information if you need.

I know that moisture is a big problem. Make sure you keep your skin dry. Lotion is great but as far ax your face goes i think you should keep it sheilded as best you can. Try a matte finish make up to act as a barrier.

I would first try to determine what exactly causes the reddening, is it because the skin gets too dry? Does it feel tight? Is there any flaking? Does regular moisturizer help?
