Default Vaseline

Since we are out of facial moisturizer, my mom has been having me to put Vaseline on my face to give it a certain shine. Has anyone ever tried this before?

I use Vaseline for my hands and feet but since it's a little too greasy, I don't apply it to my face.

O.o I don't use vaseline for my face. I use ponds facial products and I find it cheap that gives good results too.

I know it's a little strange to do, but it was the best that we had at the moment. Honestly, I hate wearing it because my hand keeps slipping off my face when I try to lean into my palm. Vaseline is a long way from the country ways of putting animal fat on your face.

Try using talcum powder after you amply Vaseline on drying a bit. I had to use it while camping with family at Manali although Ponds products are better and more specific for facial skin care.

When my grandma was dying, her skin was drying out a lot. The nurses were always putting vaseline on her face, and it really does work. It's amazing how much it helps. I use it on my lips sometimes.. if they're really dry

My friend also used vaseline on her lips and her lips colour changed to a bit dark and she finally stopped applying it.
